The body of the jacket is cut from a quilt, and is contrasted with a denim like fabric, adding gathered front pockets, collar, and sleeves with gathering at the shoulder. The outer binding and covered buttons are also from the same denim fabric.
The inner seams are bound in navy fabric. (The jacket is not reversible). The original quilt was made by someone else and has cotton batting in between the outer quilted layer and the inner backing of blue with star print. This jacket can be machine washed on a gentle cold cycle.
Measured with buttons done up. We allow a generous 3cm overlap at the front for buttons and buttonholes.
