Refund policy

We do not offer refund for change of mind.  Items can be exchanged within 7 days only. 

We do extend this at Christmas time for Christmas gift exchanges (excluding the below)

We do not offer exchange or return on any earring purchases.  Our earring are not sealed and we cannot guarantee they are unworn if returned.  For this reason, all earring purchases are final.

We also do not offer exchange for any custom made orders, including lamp shades made to order (we do offer exchange on shades purchased from the shop floor, within 7 days).

Our lamp bases are up-cycled and have been tested and tagged to ensure they are compliant with Australian standards.    We want you to be happy with your lamp purchase and we make sure all lamps are in full working order before being sold, however none of our lamps are new or in mint condition..  If, within 12 weeks of purchase, your lamp stops working for no obvious reason, we will repair (if possible), replace or refund provided the test tag is still attached to the cord (or you have proof of purchase).   

Please note that Far Fetched Designs is not responsible for any damage to your lamp once it leaves our store.  For example - if it is knocked over, if the cord is damaged by a pet, the bulb connection  collar fitting is snapped, etc; or if it has been in your home for 3 months or more.  Any electrical work on a lamp base, by law, can only be completed by a licensed electrician (we are not licensed electricians, only licensed test and taggers) and we cannot correct issues after our 3 month warranty period has expired.

For all non lamp sales - if your item is faulty or not fit for purpose; we will happily assess and may either replace or refund.  This is on a case-by-case basis, so please pop in to see us to discuss.
