Vintage Poster - Williamstown Stags Head Hotel Sky

The Williamstown Stags Head Hotel Sky artwork by Kerrie Gottliebsen celebrates the gorgeous pub on the corner of Cecil Street and Ann St Williamstown. A recent renovation overseen by the Bennet family has added to the beauty of the pub while maintaining the historic front bar, meals area, outdoor seating and comfy meeting space between the bar and dining area.

One of Williamstown’s oldest watering holes, The Stags Head was originaly licensed in 1849 and replaced by a new brick building in 1887 by Mr Brew the licensee. 

Like most pubs of the day it provided accommodation and had the latest Alcock billiard tables. The hotel has seen numerous publicans come and go over its 130 years.
