LaDY MoHaWK (aka Sally Walshe) is a passionate Footscray artist who loves the inner west and has been printmaking and making art for over 15 years. Sally regularly runs linoprinting and creative workshops, as well as community art events in the inner west.
Each linoprint takes several hours to design and carve. The printing process also requires for the print to be inked up and manually placed into a printing press, creating a unique and individual art piece.
The print is then individually and carefully hand painted. Each print is created by hand and therefore there will always be slight variations with each print.
