CLIP1 - these are best used for lightweight hooks and hoops. These are very light anf made of clear plastic, making them almost invisable. They are great for small ears.
CLIP2 - these are best used for hooks (but they'll need to be straightened a little with pliers first) or any earring with a straight rod. They have a long vertical section with a fine hole, and are made from surgical steel
CLIP3 - these are best used for studs of any kind. Strong enough to hold a larger dangle earring with a stud type, they will also hold a small stud earring too. You can also use the curve to hang a hoop. Made from surgical steel
