Mami & Babi is run by a mother, daughter & granddaughter trio based in Melbourne, Australia. The family are Australian, but their heritage is from the bohemian part of the Czech Republic. In the Czech language mum is called "Mami" (pronounced Maa-mi) & grandma is shortened to "Babi" (pronounced Baa-bi). To give respect to their heritage & to honour who they are & what they create, Mami & Babi was born.
Mami & Babi strives to create beautiful & modern handmade knit and crochet creations for everyone - with a focus on natural, breathable, quality yarn & modern style. All their handmade pieces are mindfully knit or hooked with love. And they are constantly working on a number of new handmade items, so you never know what you'll find in the range in store each month.
